Character Design – The Tech Nerd

This character was designed as the tech and robotics enthusiast of the group.

He is a clever, curious teenager with a strong passion for technology, robotics and everything related to engineering. He loves discovering new things, experimenting and pushing the limits of what he can build. His intelligence and confidence can sometimes make him come across as a little arrogant, but underneath that, he is a genuine and helpful person.

The character is set in 2000s London, which influenced his casual streetwear, color palette and overall silhouette.

For this project, I explored several outfit and color variations before settling on the final design. The different color keys helped me find a palette that matched his personality while keeping him visually distinct within the group.
